Job Title: Client Success Manager - Schools

Kreative Webworks is a digital agency specializing in enrollment marketing for schools for almost a decade, and we’re looking for our next Client Success Manager!

Location: This is a permanent “Virtual” position. That’s right, we have a beautiful office in Capistrano Beach. CA, but if you’re self-motivated and a good fit, you can work from the comfort of your home…or coffee shop, or anywhere in the country that has a good internet connection.

As a Client Success Manager, you are a company ambassador to a select group of our school clients. You are the primary advocate for the schools you work with, while always being an advocate for the company.

As the main point of contact, you are your client’s go-to person and will act as their liaison with the rest of our team and external vendors. You want to be the first person they think of when they have a question or a problem.

We’ll train you to…
  • understand how search engines work and how to do keyword research.
  • work with our social media and content teams.
  • evaluate a schools’ websites for messaging
  • design conversion strategies to increase enrollment for our school clients

We’re working on a systematic approach to onboarding specifically for this position. It consists of training on our systems, one-on-one guidance, self-study, some terrific certifications (on company time) and hands-on experience with a mentor.

Responsibilities: You are not directly responsible for retention; however, you are directly responsible for your account’s impression of us as a company. If a client does not give us a 5-star review, that indicates that we as a company could have done better. It will be your responsibility to…

  • take ownership of your relationship with the schools you work with.
  • establish and prepare for regular meetings with your accounts.
  • report regularly to the rest of the team with updates, issues and potential upsells.
  • look for opportunities that will benefit the client and make our relationship with them “sticky”.
  • respond immediately to your accounts, even if you can’t attend to them at that moment, let them know you received their query.
  • use our timekeeping ap to track billable hours
  • ask for a review when the timing is right

What are the core skills that we’re looking for?

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • A polite, friendly and diplomatic manner.
  • A good sense of humor.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • The ability to generate ideas.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage several different projects at once. Yep, multitasking is the norm.

Soon you will be able to look at a schools’ existing website, analyze it and make recommendations for improvement. That means visually, layout, content, and messaging. You MUST have great communication skills and an understanding of marketing, and the way people react to the written word and visual elements. In short, we are looking for someone who has an aptitude for the psychology of marketing.

CSM Duties (specific)

  1. Work with our social media and content teams.
  2. Monitor results/work product of our vendors (Vendor oversight)
  3. Evaluate a schools’ websites for messaging
  4. Outline content flow via wireframes for websites
  5. Develop conversion strategies to increase enrollment for our school clients
  6. Evaluate existing client content
  7. Evaluate New content from our content team
  8. Attend meetings with vendors and clients
  9. Look for and suggest upsell opportunities to clients
  10. Write PPC ads
  11. Monitor results (PPC, retargeting, conversions, Analytics, monthly reports, etc.)
  12. Participate in initial discovery meetings with prospects
  13. Participate/conduct blueprint kick-off meetings
  14. Do research for blueprints and assemble the final product.
  15. Be responsible for the overall success of each client project.
  16. Look for “red flags” at every stage of the project
  17. Learn key software programs such as SEM rush, SharpSpring, Canva/Photoshop, Convert Contacts, etc.
  18. Manage & Schedule Email workflows in CRMs
  19. Familiarize and run basic Facebook/Instagram advertising that is too small for our vendor (?)
  20. Negotiation skills (for example, if a client asks for something that isn’t on the menu)
